Santa Fe Popcorn Co. was born from a blend of love, nostalgia, bold flavor and a dream we finally decided to chase.

Popcorn has always held a special place in our hearts. Jess grew up in a single-parent home where money was tight and luxuries were few, but popcorn was one of those simple, joyful treats her mom could always afford. It became a symbol of comfort, connection, and celebration—something warm and familiar shared during family movie nights, snow days, or just because. That love for popcorn stuck, and over the years it became one of the little things that always brought joy to our lives.

As a husband-and-wife duo, we’ve always shared a love for food, adventure, and dreaming big. Whenever we travel, we’re drawn to the charm of small, local shops, places filled with handcrafted treasures that make you feel something. We’d often talk about how amazing it would be to create our own space like that someday… a little spot where people could pop in, taste something made with love, and take a piece of that magic home.

For a long time, it felt like a “someday” dream, maybe something for retirement. But after one especially inspiring trip, we looked at each other and thought, Why wait? The world could definitely use more joy right now.

So we leapt.

Santa Fe Popcorn Co. is our love letter to this dream, to Santa Fe, and to you. It’s about more than just a delicious snack, it’s about connection, community, and creating moments that matter. Every batch is hand-popped with care, inspired by bold flavors and the spirit of this incredible city we now call home. Our beloved pups Wolfie (now our logo) and Riley keep us smiling through it all.
